Spyder2express dual monitors. Discussion in 'Digital Darkroom' started by scottanderson, Sep 5, 2009. The more expensive versions of the Spyder can calibrate dual monitors no problem on Vista. Martin_howard 1, Sep 6, 2009 #1. How do I mirror a monitor in Windows Vista? I do not want to 'extend' the desktop to the monitor, but I want the second monitor (a TV in this case) to be an exact copy of the main monitor. Windows-vista multiple-monitors. Dual monitor over network with Windows Host and Mac client?
1st off sorry if this same question has come up in the past but after 30 min I didnt see it. I have just purchased a 2nd monitor and am having some difficulties with figuring out how to get both calibrated. I have an nvidia 9400gt video card running with Vista 32bit. I have the spyder2express. Antony and the johnsons cut the world rar chomikuj muzyka 2016. I have read that the spyder is meant only for single monitor calibration but have heard there are several who have f ound workarounds.

Can someone direct me how to set this up as I cant figure it out? Is the spyder2express capable of calibrating the Dell 2209wa monitors. I have a mixed bag of answers with s ome saying it can be done and others say 'not', due to the 'truecolor' feature of this particular monitor.
I am trying to avoid another purchase if at all possible. Thank you for any help! I've got a Spyder2Express with 2 monitors on an nVidia 7600 card, under Vista x64. What you need to do is disable one of the screens in display properties, calibrate the remaining one, and then rename the Spyder2Express.icm (or whatever the actual filename is) to something you'll associate with that monitor (e.g. If you've got a Dell and an LG, call it Dell.icm).
Then, enable the other monitor and disable the first one, and repeat the process, renaming the file again (in this example, you'd do LG.icm). Once you've calibrated both monitors you can re-enable them, and then in the Windows Color Management control panel just associate each monitor with the right profile, and when you re-boot your PC the right profile should be associated with each monitor.
As for your monitor and the TrueColour issue, sorry, no idea!
Does anyone know if there is a way to make a single monitor act like a dual monitor with 2 totally seperated areas that are detected at the window's level. 2560x1600 monitor to show up as 2 panels with 1280x1600 resolution each or a 1920x1200 showing up as 2 960x1200 monitors. I am usually looking at code/documents mostly so larger vertical vs horizontal resoutions are preferred.
Is there any video card drivers that support this or is there some layer to put over windows to allow for this functionality. The solution should make windows see 2 monitors when looking at the display settings. There should be no difference from a real 2 monitor solution. Is this even possible? Edit: Using windows Vista. Edit 2: I am looking for something that virtualizes the multiple monitors so windows itself thinks there is 2 monitors.
Not looking for something that will give me split bars etc.
