So, I've seen a great many topics concerning the lack of music in Quake: The Offering, with file converison, using sourceports etc. BUT there is an even easier way. You can mount the disc image located in the instalation folder (game.cue), install the game from it (in a separate directory), then run either the Windows or GL version of the game (the Dos version will even look better and work smoother than the one launched from GOG Galaxy submenu).
The Gl version may inform you about a missing file, just copy it from the GOG directory. The only thing you'll need is Magic ISO/Deamontools/Nero and voila- nothing to do except installing the game and enjoying Reznor's beutiful ambient. Etb: (off topic, are you really Italian?) Oh, you use Windows. Well, then it is your decision to make your life more difficult. However, I can imagine that if you mount the CD image after fixing the cue sheet you can use one CD rippers in windows too.
(does it really matter where i come from?) Of course, because Windows is a very difficult system to use compared to any Linux distro, my fault. Anyway, i'm sorry to say that your 'imagination' doesn't meet the 'reality', because as i've already said i've tried every single guide posted on this forum with no luck.
