Nevetoss rates this game: 5/5 Nintendo's most recent release in the acclaimed fast-pace racing series, F-Zero GX exceeds all expectations of what a futuristic racing game can be. SEGA’s mastery of over-the-top speed was put to great use here. With beautiful graphics and an awesome soundtrack, I’d recommend this title to anyone who is a fan of racing games. This game is also one of the most difficult games that I’ve come across, with a single mistake meaning defeat in the higher difficulties in the game. Other than that, I’d go as far as to say that this is the greatest title in the entire F-Zero series. Sloshy rates this game: 5/5 F-Zero GX is the fourth game in Nintendo's high-speed racing series, F-Zero. This is the second title in the series to have 3D graphics and also the second-recent.
In all my years of playing racing games, never before have I played a game quite as exciting and thrilling as GX. Basically you race along gravity-defying tracks going faster than the speed of sound with 30 other racers at a time with amazing graphics and music.
If that's not good enough of a reason to play this game, then I don't know what is. The game is extremely hard sometimes but there are reasonably easy tracks to play on with friends, in addition to a super-challenging story mode.
The soundtrack, which I said was awesome, is one of the best I've ever heard in the game with a unique track for each racer, course location, as well as story mission. Some of my best Gamecube memories were playing this game and I'm 100% sure that you'll enjoy it too!
Must be zero. BReserved: BYTE; // reserved for future use. Serial number delphi prism xe. End; TSendCmdInParams = packed record // Buffer size in bytes cBufferSize: LongInt; // Structure with drive register values.
Brendoge rates this game: 4/5 Captain Falcon is back in full swing, pilot the Blue Falcon to victory. F-Zero GX is full throttle racing at its greatest momentum. Frantic speeding crafts faster than speeding bullets and also as dangerous are put to the test entering tournaments from lustrious worlds to floating air ships. You'll race in ever corner of the galaxy, including the famed Big Blue courses!
With customizable designs for unique crafts, agressive multiplayer racing action and a believable singleplayer storyline - GX will rev your excitement levels through the roof. Amazing visuals accompany over thirty characters, over twenty tracks and music suiting the fast paced epic scale that is F-Zero.
I've been screwing around in Practice Mode in F-Zero GX and I have noticed little details no one would usually see because of the high-paced nature of F-Zero. Mute City (ALL): On the sides of the start/finish line, you can hover close to see a bunch of people cheering at the F-Zero machines, however, they just look like pictures painted on the glass. Big Blue: Drift Road: Again, there are people scattered somewhere on this map. Once you go through the first tunnel, the fancy building you pass through has hundreds of screaming F-Zero fans crowding around several guard railings. Casino Palace: Split Oval: Look near the start/finish line and you will see various moniters depiciting an unknown number of things. There are also screens showing Samurai Goroh in all of his failing glory!
It's kinda creepy, though, because they are ALL GOROH!!! Green Plant (ALL): I like looking at the trees swaying side to side. Sand Ocean (ALL): The wildlife here has to be gigantic, on Suface Slide, you can see snakes, sharks, and fish floating around in the desert. The same goes for Lateral Shift, but now there are birds exiting the tunnel on the first lap. Port Town, Mute City (ALL): Look down, I dare ya. Big Blue (ALL): The guard rails here are interesting, most of the time they are just plain concrete walls with water flowing down them. Casino Palace (ALL): Everywhere you go, there is a clown staring at you.
Big Blue: Ordeal: In the tunnel leading to the finish line, you can see a number of large fish. And I mean LARGE, bigger than a freakin' whale!!!
Has anyone else noticed anything interesting when they screw around on F-Zero circuits??? I've found a few other extras in Story Mode. Chapter 2: When ever Samurai Goroh gets hurt by the rocks falling from the canyon walls, the Blue Falcon will emit a spark. Chapter 3: In the introductory cutscene, you can see the Skull's name in the bet race participant's check in. However, he makes no appearance in the cutscene or in Story Mode except for Chapter 7. Afterward, you can see PJ in the backround in the ending cutscene. TAXI DRIVERS FTW!
