I find it amazing how, if you look at it without thinking of it as a face, but as a picture, the guy in the middle's face and the guy on the right (the guy not having his head shot off) face look a lot alike. The Lehigh Valley Amateur Radio Club is participating in the national field day event in South Whitehall Township. Ham radio operators across the country are trying to contact as many others as possible over 24 hours. The event allows operators to hone their skills. Organizers said that's important because ham radio operators assist emergency organizations and are especially helpful during disasters like SuperStorm Sandy, which knocked out cell towers.
