This is a great Bo Diddley ['box set']. In fact it offers more than just a taste of Bo Diddley, who is a mid 1950's & 1960's rock 'n' roll / blues superstar. This is a great rock 'n' roll 2 CD complication with music, that some people say, it was before it's time, and, absolute masterpieces of work. The funny thing about this thread is that the thread title could be a Bo Diddley album title.Bo Diddley is a Lover, Bo Diddley is a Gunslinger, Bo Diddley's a Twister, Bo Diddley Is A Mess. Eddiel, Aug 3, 2017.

Pretty Thing 8. Bring It To Jerome 9. Diddy Wah Diddy 10. I'm Looking For a Woman 11. Who Do You Love? Cops and Robbers 14.
Down Home Special 15. Bo Diddley 16. Say Boss Man 18. Before You Accuse Me 19. Hush Your Mouth DISC 2: 1. Dearest Darling 2.
The Clock Strikes Twelve 3. Crackin' Up 4.
Don't Let It Go (Hold On To What You Got) 5. Mumblin' Guitar 7. What Do You Know About Love 8. Story of Bo Diddley (a/k/a My Story) 9. She's Alright 10. Say Man, Back Again 11. Autocad 2006 serial number.

Bo Diddley's a Gunslinger (a/k/a Gunslinger) 17. I Can Tell 19. You Can't Judge a Book By the Cover 20.
Mama, Keep Your Big Mouth Shut 21. Ooh Baby Looks like it contains all of 1997's His Best plus almost all of Bo's other essential tracks, although I would have traded 'What Do You Know About Love' for 'The Great Grandfather'.

I may just just burn my own comp of this when I get home. Click to expand.Unless you can find a copy of the Hip-O Select I'm A Man - The Chess Masters 1955-58 (I think they have a copy at Basement Discs in Melbourne), Gold would be the collection to pick up for Bo, as it has an awesome selection of tracks. The mastering should be by Erick Labson so it'll be on par with the 1997 His Best comp at least. The other options aren't much chop: His Best - great sound but only 20 tracks The Story Of Bo Diddley - UK import 2 disc set with dodgy (phasy) mastering but a few rare tracks The Essential Bo Diddley - Budget 20 track compilation (UK Spectrum/Universal), with sound equal to His Best, great $12 gift to get someone into Bo but not enough tracks for a more hardcore fan The Classic Bo Diddley - Universal 'Classic' series, crap brickwalled sound BGO 2-fers - The Hey Bo Diddley/Bo Diddley one sounds alright, the Rides Again/In The Spotligh one sounds horrid!
